Supporting the health and well-being of employees and their families is a top priority. Excellent health coverage encompasses much more than sick care–it includes resources for mental health, support for complex and chronic conditions, and benefits to help grow and care for your family.

Medical Plans: We recognize that health is a large and broad component of wellness which starts with medical and prescription drug coverage. Employees can choose from medical plans through Anthem (including an HSA plan option) or Kaiser Permanente (California employees only).

 

Virtual Primary Care: Access care when you need it. Chat with a doctor 24/7 without an appointment for urgent health issues or schedule a virtual primary care appointment for routine care and more.

 

Family Planning & Support: For employees who are on a parenting journey, support is available at every stage–from preconception through pregnancy to early childhood. We are pleased to offer fertility coverage and comprehensive personalized family building support. Employees who are parents (regardless of role) also receive paid parental leave. Midlife & Menopause Support: Employees and their spouses/partners going through perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, and andropause can get personalized 24/7 virtual support, care, and guidance with Maven.

 

Personalized Cancer Care: If someone in your family is affected by cancer, the personalized Concierge Cancer Care program can support you through each step of the journey, including covering second medical opinions, identifying which treatment plan is right for you and offering the support and resources you need.

Choose from two dental plans through Delta Dental, the largest national network of dentists. One plan option offers enhanced coverage including night guards; the other is basic coverage with lower premiums.

 

We also offer two vision plans through VSP with comprehensive benefits and expanded network options.

Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental wellness programs that include: access to Lyra mental health providers, 24/7 concierge navigation services, counseling for all ages (in person or virtual), medication management, and self-care resources (for Anthem members); 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program; and free access to the Calm meditation app.

Provided through both Anthem and Kaiser, members of the LGBTQIA+ community can connect with doctors and specialists familiar with and sensitive to their physical and mental wellness needs, with personalized concierge support.

Employees may participate in the Zscaler 401(k) plan through Fidelity, a powerful tool to help you plan for the future and reach your retirement goals. Zscaler offers a company matching contribution up to $5,000* per year. This helps you save faster to reach your retirement goals.

The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.

 

• RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.

• ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice a year.

 

Life Insurance: Zscaler provides Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits to protect you and your family in case of death or serious injury. Zscaler pays for the full cost of this coverage. You may also purchase additional Life and AD&D coverage for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and your children.

 

Disability Plans: Short-term and long-term disability insurance provides income protection in case you are unable to work due to extended illness or disability. Zscaler pays for the full cost of this coverage.

We have partnered with Unum to offer three new voluntary insurance plans: Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity insurance. These benefits provide lump sum payments following medical events, regardless of what your medical insurance covers, helping you cover out-of-pocket medical expenses and additional financial expenses.

Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:

 

• Birthing parents receive 100% of their base pay for 8 weeks of bonding time, plus 10 weeks of disability.

 

• Non-birthing parents receive 100% of their base pay for 8 weeks of bonding time.

 

• Exempt (salaried) employees may work a reduced schedule for up to four consecutive weeks immediately following Parental Leave. Employees will be paid 100% of their base salary during this ramp back period.

All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential program offers localized 1:1 health and wellbeing support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.

You have access to a nationwide network of attorneys who can help with issues including consumer and fraud protection issues, wills and estate planning, real estate matters, family law, debt-­related matters, landlord disputes, small claims court cases, tax issues, and traffic matters.
